Our mission is simple: to make it easy for consumers to find the best auto body shops and auto mechanics that are certified (i.e. ASE, I-CAR, OEM).
When people get into an accident and require collision repairs, or when they need mechanical repairs, people look for the best shops to fix their cars. We make that process that much more easy compared to looking at review sites. Our site makes it easy to find the best certified auto body shops and auto mechanics.
While every certified auto body shop, mechanic, and dealership could apply for listing on CertifiedShops.com, only a select number will be accepted. We review each application, and cherry pick only the top-tier, best-in-class, certified auto body shops and auto mechanics based on ratings on various Web sites, overall reputation, and verified certifications. The select shops that we approve gain further recognition for their outstanding business, and consumers benefit by easily find the top-tier shops to have their cars repaired at, whether for collision, mechanic need, or any other service. We do the work, so consumers don’t have.
How do we evaluate auto body shops, mechanics, and dealerships?
We look at every location on an individual basis, so even if a business that applies has multiple locations, we check each one to ensure the following:
- At least 4 out of 5 star rating (80% rating) on various rating Web sites.
- Overall reputation.
- Verification of each certification.
We review each business on a regular basis, and continuously monitor each listing on CertifiedShops.com to ensure that we maintain only the top-tier, certified shops for consumers to easily find.
Is there a fee to use this site?
The site is available FREE of charge to all consumers. Auto body shops, auto mechanics, and car dealerships wishing to apply for listing will pay $995 per year (through July 18th, after which the price goes up to $1495 per year) which includes Damage Review photo app, allowing your prospects and customers to easily and securely request an estimate using their mobile devices or computer, upon completion of our verification process with renewal and verification done annually. Multi-shop operators (MSO) will receive discounted rates for more than 1 verified location.

The review process may take up to 72 hours, but normally is completed within 24 hours. Once the review is done, you will receive an email with the decision and a way to process payment. Once my auto business is approved, how long will it take for the listing to appear? It usually takes 1-2 hours after payment has been processed for the listing to appear and for consumers to start finding you.
